Escrima
The Filipino Martial Art in the Rhythm of Combat
What is Escrima ?
The fighting stick, knife mastery, and empty-hand techniques are at the heart of the Filipino martial arts.
Born in the islands of the Philippines, Escrima (also known as Arnis or Kali) evolved over centuries of conflict and cultural exchange, blending local traditions with foreign influences.
Recognized for its fluid, precise, and rapid movements, Escrima allows practitioners to transition naturally from one weapon to another — or to empty-hand combat — with remarkable ease.
Nicknamed by some the Dance of the Death, this discipline combines the beauty of movement with formidable effectiveness, each action designed for strategy and survival.
Today, Escrima attracts practitioners as much for its power and speed as for its ability to develop coordination, tactical sense, and self-confidence, all while remaining true to its warrior roots.
Level 1 to 6
The art of weapons, mastery of the body
In our Escrima course, structured into six progressive levels, you will learn the fundamentals of weapon handling, tactical principles for both short and long range, and the fluidity of combinations. Training is conducted with rhythm, action, and speed, making this martial art full of power and movement.
At advanced levels, we merge these techniques with Wing Chun, creating a unique approach that enhances your strategy, timing, and combat mastery. Whether you are drawn to martial efficiency, the beauty of movement, or the physical challenge, Escrima offers an intense and exciting experience where every movement counts. (Ages 10+)
